Jesus saves the day
Swiss cheese is supposed to have holes in it, not bits of metal. But what to do when you've lost a spring and you're pretty sure it's in one of the expensive cheeses you planned to sell? Well that is simple; take the cheese to the airport and pass it through security. The Bern-Belp Airport near the Swiss capital says it allowed a local cheese-maker to run seven cheese wheels through an X-ray machinenormally reserved for spotting bombs in luggage. Failure to find the spring would have forced the cheese-maker to forgo selling the loaves, each worth hundreds of dollars. Airport personal said the machine located the spring, allowing it to be extracted and saving the day as well as the cheese. The cheese-maker asked to remain anonymous, with good reason if he ever wanted to sell cheese again. Family we need to search out the unwanted and unhealthy things that have been added to our life, just like the spring in the cheese. When we mix worldliness with righteous living we end up contaminated and no longer living right with God. If the impurity remains it will spoil the entire whole of our lives. We are worth so very much to the Lord. The value Jesus has placed on each person is manifested in the suffering and death on the cross. He can locate and remove the spring in the cheese, but only if given a chance. Has Jesus saved the day and saved your soul?
